Thanks fgross335_2210, nice to hear from an owner of the same model I'm looking at. I'm looking at a unit specially equiped with the HDAP tires which I hope will give good traction in snow. These snow tires are normally not available on the 2210, it was a dealer swap from a customer who bought a X595 and didn't want the HDAP's. I am well aware that turf tires are no good in snow, that's why i'm serious about this unit and THOSE tires.
We don't often get much snow here and not usually wet stuff either. This year was mostly powder snow and more than usual though we rarely get more than six inches at a time. I have a 16 hp snapper rider with snowblower should the need arise. I intend to use the blade for driveway construction and maintenance. I can get a 60" blade but the dealer doesn't know how long it would take to get it. He claims to have made a discount perchase on the 72 " and there wouldnt be any price advantage. personally I suspect he's anxious to get rid of the 72" unit from stock.
The frontier tiller I was quoted is a 49" unit.

Look into the new R4 tires for the 2210, they look pretty sweet. I have turfs on mine and haven't had much traction problems in the snow, but when replacing time comes it will be R4s for sure. I'd be skeptical of the hdaps if you plan on using the loader too, load ratings and such. Good luck, its a fine tractor that will perform some serious work. I might add I've had mine for a year and a half with absolutely zero problems or warranty trips to the dealer.

If HDAP tires were offered on the 2210, I would have gotten them with mine. I too had heard they're not offered on the 2210 due to the FEL loads, but if they're both 4 ply tires with the same PSI rating, seems like it might be worth a try.

I have since purchased a used set of bar tires. I have only done a little loader work and grading with them. but they sure have more bite than the turfs. I have to believe that R4's would be similar in this regard.

I'd be real careful about the 6 foot blade, I have a 6 foot landscape rake and my 2210 doesn't like it very much. It loads it down pretty good, I wish I had gotten the 5 foot. One other thing to consider is the 2210 has a limited lift height, the pickup point on landscape rakes and back blades is pretty high. You can not lift a larger blade high enough to dump the load of dirt you are pulling. I had to modify a quick hitch to pick it up high enough. I think you'd be happier with a blade made for the 2210, a little shorter and not as high on the lift points.

thanks will have to check it out but it seemed like the blade raised about a foot when I looked at the unit

and thanks to the comments on the tires, I will definitely do some research and let y'all know if the HDAP's have the load capacity.

I'm changing my name to MEGOTATRACTOR. Yes, the HDAP tires are rated the same as the tires normally offered on the 2210. and the 72' Frontier blade raises a good foot off the ground at least. She's coming home next week.

That sounds like a fair price to me but you did not say what kind of implements. I paid $9500 for the tractor 2k for the FEL $220 for the iMatch, $415 for a frontier 5' rear blade and I think 2k for the Frontier 48" tiller. The tiller is awesome. It was well worth every penny. Each time I use it I am glad I did not buy a different model.

I have been shopping around Southeast Minnesota for 2210s. Seems like a pretty good package deal compared to others in the area. Can you send me the dealer and location? You can send a private message if you prefer.
Thanks.
