Thanks fgross335_2210, nice to hear from an owner of the same model I'm looking at. I'm looking at a unit specially equiped with the HDAP tires which I hope will give good traction in snow. These snow tires are normally not available on the 2210, it was a dealer swap from a customer who bought a X595 and didn't want the HDAP's. I am well aware that turf tires are no good in snow, that's why i'm serious about this unit and THOSE tires.
We don't often get much snow here and not usually wet stuff either. This year was mostly powder snow and more than usual though we rarely get more than six inches at a time. I have a 16 hp snapper rider with snowblower should the need arise. I intend to use the blade for driveway construction and maintenance. I can get a 60" blade but the dealer doesn't know how long it would take to get it. He claims to have made a discount perchase on the 72 " and there wouldnt be any price advantage. personally I suspect he's anxious to get rid of the 72" unit from stock.
The frontier tiller I was quoted is a 49" unit.
