Snow 2210 snow blower or blade?

I bought a backblade last year. I push the snow to one side of the road and then use my old walk-behind snow blower to remove the pile.

It's a perennial discussion. A TBN search pulls up more than a few hits!

With JD front mount blades and blowers, there is a logical, economical evolution to determine what works best. When you buy a full set up for the blade, you end up with a quick hitch attachment, hydraulic lift, angling kit, and moldboard. If you learn you need the blower, you simply add the front PTO kit and the blower itself. All the other pieces are needed for the blower anyway. I think the moldboard is $500 to $600 bucks and a dealer worth his salt should take the moldboard back at some depreciated value if he knows up front that you might graduate to the blower. See what your dealer says. You may end up wanting both for different types and depths of snow. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
