Tires 2210 uneven front tire wear

I don't believe there is anything wrong with the tractor. Most machines have toe-in, or caster/camber specs or whatever you want to call them, to aid in steering. I see that a lot on the rear steering tires on my front-mowers and some front steering tires on some tractors. As long as the tires aren't uni-directional, you can take them off of the rim and flip them around to get more life out of them.

you won't shear off your valve stems, mine are on the inside to give the front end a wider stance. the front wheels bacspacing is very deep, if you rotate your fronts, you'll gain more than 3 inches of overall width. never had a problem. adding air is not that bad, just turn wheels all the way to one side and drive forward till you can reach valve stem.

Tractor, truck, car or lawnmower,......driving on pavement, grass, gravel, glass or a bed of feathers,...... "properly" set up and "aligned", (and yes "toe-in" set) and proper air pressure, etc....... your tires should wear "evenly"!!! If any of these factors is slightly off,...expect UNeven wear.

And Yes, certainly, of course,...you can switch 'em around till your blue in the face to ensure that the UNeven wear happens on them all for as long as you can encourage them to last in that abnormal state,...if you wish,...and of course that is the personal choice of the owner of that piece of equipment.

BUT,....as previously stated,...to get the longest use of the tires on "any" equipment, proper maintenance and careful alignment is an important factor!!

OK boys and girls,..that is my final lecture on this subject for this particular thread. Believe it or not, I'm not trying to be a "wise-guy" either,...but simply trying to help out,...with my two cents:..and you may "Take it or Leave it".

Geez....what happens when all of the specifications on the machine are correct and you still get uneven tire wear over time? I have noticed the the outside tread of steering tires, whether they are in the front or in the rear, tend to wear more than the inside.

OK,..."this" is my "final": pay attention now: ..."TOE-IN" !!! NO,no,no, don't argue,...ask an alignment shop! (Unless the machine is "dog-tracking"?)
