From two different places I get 1918 for a 2210. So where are you getting yours from Mark? Of course with a fel I guess you would add around 500 lbs.

Dick / Arthr,

I try to use the information from www.TractorData.com. I seems to be fairly accurate, and occasionally updated. NOT GOSPEL, but next best thing to a IT shop manual with weights & measurements.

I get mine for this site, put on by EFC. And also Free-tractor-manuals.com. They both say the same thing. So I guess unless ones takes them to a scales and finds out, we can't be sure. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Some listings may be "dry weight", others with fluids. I doubt that anyone other than Yanmar really knows.

hmm... that chart might be suspect... they listed the height of the 2210 at 74 inches. That'd make it 6ft 1in. My 1601 is listed at 59 inches.

But, i guess as a relative reference point, it's OK...

OK, like i said, i'm considering upgrading from 1601 (and 169) to a single 2210. I have woodlands, field down the road to mow (about 1 acre few to several times a summer), and about 1/2 acre to finish mow, few hundred feet of dirt/gravel driveway to maintain. Also, I'll be doing a lot of digging and moving stone this coming summer.

Why get rid of the 1601? Sometimes it seems like it's pushed around with some of the tasks and I'd like to get a tractor that is not remanufactored. my current loader seems kinda flimsy and I've concerns about the longevity of the "rebuild" (how long will it last...)

Is the 2210 too much for my applications? Should I just take the longer times it'll take with the 1601?

Thanks for the input guys... -art

The 3 cylinder runs a bit smoother than the 2 cylnder - by nature. The creeper gear range is unreal. And the rear universal lock is a nice addiiton. 2210 has a water pump and my 2210D has the nice tranny - can't remember what it's referred to now - basically the clutch is optional and is real handy with FEL work. With the option to use the breaks on one wheel you can turm some pretty tight corners. Looks like the 2210 is only 7" lomger and 2" wider. I don't think it's be too much.
Get a good factory built loader!!!
good luck!
