About 90 degrees out, and I was mowing some tall, dry grass. My 2305 overtemp light came came on, and I idled down immediately. It conked out, and would not start right back up.
I jumped off, and there was radiator fluid leaking out. I popped the hood open, and the radiator cap was partially untwisted! I cranked the cap back on and immediately tried starting again. After about 3-5 minutes it creaked and groaned a bit, but finally started up. Ran real rough for a minute or two. The overtemp light went off after about 5 minutes idling.
Don't think there was any damage? Seems to be running fine now? The radiator overflow was completely empty, and the radiator was about 2 cups low, but I could see fluid near the top when it finally cooled down.
Any thoughts?
