You could try pulling it from the top with a hose down the fill tube it is thin oil unlike motor oil.

I tried that (~ 1/2" OD tubing) and I could not get it far enough down in to get into the oil itself. I was also concerned that if I forced it, it would get caught on something inside and with my luck I'd wind up with a major service call. I think I'd rather take my chances on getting my hands messy.

I have lots of that orange hand cleaner and paper towels on hand.... :D

If you really don't want to remove the drain plug, you might use a suction gun and suck it out. My old 2310 would be easy, but the new 2610 has a small rubber tube that extends the hydraulic oil fill upwards and the curves in it might make feeding the tube difficult.

I was able to suction out about 2 quarts and then took it to a steep incline and when I parked it on the hill, I could see the difference.

I then backed out stopping and checking frequently so that I could get an idea about how overfull it is.

I'd guess it is over by less than a quart, so I think I'll be OK.

I'm also going to put a note into the owner's manual so that 2-3 years from now when I have to do this again, I will remember to be more careful when refilling.
