2310 suddenly loses power and engine almost stalls when mowing

Wow doesn't seem like a fuel issue if your limping back and TAC is on the green. Does the transmission sound different? Is there a louder wine? How is hydraulic oil?

OK, tried simple first. Checked fuel filter and everything looked fine so I disconnected fuel line from the fuel tank (with loose fuel cap) and diesel fuel just trickled out...so I pushed a nail into the outlet and fuel gushed out like normal....so I drained the fuel tank into a clean container straining it thru paper towels....as I tapped on the bottom of the tank. Saw significant amount of particles, that indicated possible issue. So I flushed clean diesel thru the tank, watching the out flow thru paper towel filters...did this until I saw no more residue. Then I ran the tractor for 2 hours with no additional issues.

I do not want to have to remove the tank. Is there a small flexible vacuum that can be used to clean out and residue in the bottom of a fuel tank?
