I have developed a slow leak it looks like it is coming from where the brake linkage goes to the transmission. 1st question how hard is this to fix or should i just park it on cardboard? 2nd question why is the brake linked to the transmission when there is a brake cable? 2nd question is most likely stupid but i was just wondering?

Just seen this this morning.I had the same problem with mine. The reason it's leaking there is that there's a o-ring inside the housing thats letting oil leak past the shaft.Too fix it you have to split the rear diff, pull out the brake disc's then the shaft and change the o-ring.It has to be done from the inside out.I did mine as I was getting tired of oil leaking all the time plus with the hydro fan turning all the time it was blowing oil all over the everything.Yeah its a big job for sure.As for your other question I'am not sure what your asking.Larry
