Hey TBN folks... just a big thanks for all the insight and education I've received by lurking these past few months. Finally joined TBN and wanted to say how much I've appreciated the info. Ordered a 2320 a few weeks ago and got it today with 200cx, 62D, and LP RTR 1050. Waiting on a LP BB, Rake and PHD to arrive. Have 10 acres here in MO with lots of hills... and lately lots of mud! So much rain it has been crazy. Have my Dad's old 17 year old 670 w/o a loader, but needed something w/ more flexibility. Looked hard at the 2305 and the 2520, but it came down to form, function and a little extra $$$ for more implements. I really like the fit of the 2320 for some reason...feels more open to me. I must have sat on all three of the 2000 series a dozen times. Was leaning towards the 2305, but have a Simplicity mower for the level ground mowing, and the old 670 that does pretty well still. But w/o a loader, a deck that needed replaced, and no hyd res to run the loader... and can't run deck w/ off-brand loader on it...etc, etc. So put the $$$ towards a new version and really liked the CX. Got a half hour in the mud today and will work some more tomorrow. I know folks say the R4 tires are not bad on grass, but it's way more aggressive than I'm used to... can't really test it with the soft grass this time of year, but will be curious when I till up 1-2 acres up top for nursery shrubs and such. Any advice on tilling? The 670 has some kind of wide Goodyear semi-bar tires on it that handles the slopes/grass very well for mowing... they don't make that tire anymore I'm told. Our property is like a 6+ acre "bowl" around a 1.5 acre pond, and 2-3 acres up top, so I work carefully. I've got several years of land remediation to do, and just spent the past 6 mos cutting deadwood, limbs and trees. Want to get a a bunch of gravel and rocks for fill work... need to grade the drive and re-grade a new one to the barn. 'Bout hurt myself this past year with a wheelbarrow, shovel, chainsaw and ezgo cart while planting trees, shrubs and moving bark and firewood. Chipper on the 670 works pretty well, but several hundred branches and a few oak trees makes for a lot of chipping! Not a good place to burn around here. But probably should have done this last year for the loader alone... live and learn. Anyway, sorry for the long post- and if you ever wonder if a random comment about your experience does anybody any good, I can tell you it made a world of difference for me in my buying decision... and will continue to help for stuff I have to learn. From engine, tires, pos control, quick hitch, work lights, loader, mower discussions and more... all really helped put the picture together. Thanks again- Here's a few pics before it got dirty!
