Hey TBN folks... just a big thanks for all the insight and education I've received by lurking these past few months. Finally joined TBN and wanted to say how much I've appreciated the info. Ordered a 2320 a few weeks ago and got it today with 200cx, 62D, and LP RTR 1050. Waiting on a LP BB, Rake and PHD to arrive. Have 10 acres here in MO with lots of hills... and lately lots of mud! So much rain it has been crazy. Have my Dad's old 17 year old 670 w/o a loader, but needed something w/ more flexibility. Looked hard at the 2305 and the 2520, but it came down to form, function and a little extra $$$ for more implements. I really like the fit of the 2320 for some reason...feels more open to me. I must have sat on all three of the 2000 series a dozen times. Was leaning towards the 2305, but have a Simplicity mower for the level ground mowing, and the old 670 that does pretty well still. But w/o a loader, a deck that needed replaced, and no hyd res to run the loader... and can't run deck w/ off-brand loader on it...etc, etc. So put the $$$ towards a new version and really liked the CX. Got a half hour in the mud today and will work some more tomorrow. I know folks say the R4 tires are not bad on grass, but it's way more aggressive than I'm used to... can't really test it with the soft grass this time of year, but will be curious when I till up 1-2 acres up top for nursery shrubs and such. Any advice on tilling? The 670 has some kind of wide Goodyear semi-bar tires on it that handles the slopes/grass very well for mowing... they don't make that tire anymore I'm told. Our property is like a 6+ acre "bowl" around a 1.5 acre pond, and 2-3 acres up top, so I work carefully. I've got several years of land remediation to do, and just spent the past 6 mos cutting deadwood, limbs and trees. Want to get a a bunch of gravel and rocks for fill work... need to grade the drive and re-grade a new one to the barn. 'Bout hurt myself this past year with a wheelbarrow, shovel, chainsaw and ezgo cart while planting trees, shrubs and moving bark and firewood. Chipper on the 670 works pretty well, but several hundred branches and a few oak trees makes for a lot of chipping! Not a good place to burn around here. But probably should have done this last year for the loader alone... live and learn. Anyway, sorry for the long post- and if you ever wonder if a random comment about your experience does anybody any good, I can tell you it made a world of difference for me in my buying decision... and will continue to help for stuff I have to learn. From engine, tires, pos control, quick hitch, work lights, loader, mower discussions and more... all really helped put the picture together. Thanks again- Here's a few pics before it got dirty!

Very nice set-up. It still amazes me how often the dog gets in the tractor photos on TBN. Nice dog.

Congratulations, the 2320 is a pretty nice rig. I have had mine since Feb 07 and I have about 28 hours on it. Kicking myself for not buying a tractor three years ago when I moved here. It sure is a time (and back) saver. I only have a RL2060 scraper and a 200CX FEL so keep us posted on how useful you find your other implements. I have to decide what to buy next:)

Well thanks everyone. Got it pretty dirty today working the gravel... uh, mud drive to the barn. That loader is amazing, especially for someone who has never had one before. Should be standard requirement for living in the country. Kept the deck on to test out how it worked with the loader. Had it "up and locked" and did just fine, although I popped the front spring pin out once going over a hump. Put it back in without a problem, but now know why it's better to do loader work without the deck on.
- EdC... that's a good many hours since Feb! I'm kicking myself for not doing this sooner too... but smiling now with the boot in my butt. :D
- Cliff... that's "Justin" the 8-year 'ole man of the place. Follows me everywhere. He's got competition from my Lab pup now, and a little Shiba tsunami that keeps them both in check.
It's a nice place to live... I appreciate the compliments. Was my folks for 17+ years until Dad passed away in '05. We were fortunate to be able to buy it from Mom, and no other sibling wanted to get dirty. I live for country life and gettin' outdoors, and think we're just stewards anyway... this place will be here long after I'm gone. The 6-year old is going to have a rural perspective to look back on when he grows up, whatever he decides to do. Here's a pic with the pond in the background... shows the slopes I work with, steeper in other parts. Had the tires filled and added weights too. I'll be curious how it does when the ground firms up. The dam is another story... and doesn't involve a tractor unfortunately!
Thanks again, and see y'all around.

Must be something about muddy roads to barns. The first day I had mine stuck in 20 inches of mud trying to level off the driveway to the barn. Bye the way, you do have a Great looking place.

Your 2320 looks so shiny compared to mine. I've got all kinds of scrapes and a big fat dent in the grill. Was moving some logs around from a downed tree and one fliped over with a stubby branch and their goes my shiny grill. Looked super clean 6 months ago.

What Simplicity do you have. I have a Conquest. Sounds like we have a similar setup.

I have some pictures of my machines down below if interested.

Enjoy your new purchase. I sure have enjoyed mine.

Hey Aseanders... Nice pictures! I think I looked at your set up and discussion before to help make my own decision. I'm reeeallly glad I went with the 2320 vice the 2305 after running it around. The 2305 would have been fine, but I just needed a larger size for the property. By the way, I looked at Simplicity for 6+ months, and finally found a new, but 6 year old Simplicity Baron on the web. A dealer had it in stock, never sold, and it came with a warranty at half off. It's built on the older Broadmoor frame, but has a dump cart in back. I almost got a Conquest or Prestige, but went with this to save some $$ for another implement on the tractor. I got it mostly to help pick up leaves in the fall, and as a small level-ground cutter for the wife. I love it's strengths, although it doesn't have diff lock or automatic traction control. I may find that limiting over time, but it does alright for where I use it though. I just need to find some fender handles, and wheel weights somewhere... any thoughts? Thanks for commenting!

I'd take a look at http://www.simpletractors.com/ for the Simplicity stuff. It's a great site for finding anything Simplicity. Just post a message on their forum and I'm sure you will get some good suggestions. I bought an older snowblower off ebay for my Conquest prior to moving to Florida. I still have it and probably the only person in Florida prepared for a blizzard :D .
I'm a big fan of Simplicity. Their suff is some of the toughest around.

I love the proportions of the machine. The 2320 makes my 2210 with its little tires look awfully silly.

speaking of tires, my 4100 with its R3 turfs looked pretty good, but i cannot wait until the Golf turfs for my 4310 show up!
