I finally got the MMM height control knob on my 2320 working correctly (ie the lock position actually holds the mower up now with minimal dropping) and have been using the knob to control my cutting height..

My issue is that the first position down from Lock cut around 4" to 4.5", the next position down is about 3".. This is from trying to measure the grass..

While I like my grass closer to 4" high so it weathers the heat better (pun intended)..the second position give a much, MUCH better/cleaner/smoother cut but tends to cut it too short in uneven areas.. the 4" has a ragged look to it - and the blades are sharpened regularly..

Any suggestion on how to add something to the position cam do so the 2nd position down is a tad thicker making the cut higher? I would love to split the difference between position 1 and 2..

could i use a flat washer, stick on wheel weight, etc?

Use JB weld, super glue or something else to hold it in place?

I think you could change the lenght of the brackets that hook to the lift arms.
Just take the weight off the deck - unpin the brackets and turn them both the same amount to get your height half way between the stops you have now.
After your done - just check the clearance on the upstop limiter to be safe.

If you use the 3-point to raise and lower the deck then you can set the lever for it using the built in stop for the height you want. If you use the same lever as the FEL then you would have to use the method mentioned above. My setting using that method makes the height on the first notch about 3 3/4" and the second about 3 1/4"

I messed with the mmm adjustments this afternoon.. I got the blade height within 1/8" to 1/4" of each other side-to-side and front-to-back for both sides..

The right hand height front-to-back is almost 1/4" lower than the left hand side though and I dont know how to adjust just one side. I did adjust the front connection so the left was lifting higher - but I wasnt suppose to according to the manual.

It appears that the turnbuckles (that adjust the mounting arms that catch the MMM) arent designed for height adjustment but for side-to-side adjustments.. When I adjusted the turnbuckles for height it changed the front-to-back height too much

After I got it adjusted correctly I checked and the height control knob and the difference between the 1st and 2nd notch is about 1" - which give me 4" and 3" respectively.. Using the 3pt control gave me approx 3.5" - but that caused the side to side/front-to-back adjustments to be off more than when using the control knob..

I am just going to live with the 4" cut - even though it doesnt looks a 'clean' as the 3" setting..
