Hello everybody been viewing this site for a while and found some helpful info. When i bought my 235 i was told it was a 1 wire charging system well I have since found out its not. After reviewing the wiring diagram I realized I was missing several wire. Okay have everything rewired now with on problem the book calls for a diode inline between the oil pressure switch and alternator but nobody can tell me what type or size. The wiring diagram is the same for 230, 235 and 245. Can anybody help.

If it has the oil pressure switch i presume its got the Perkins diesel, if this is the case ya don't need the diode
