The BX 60 series 3PH is rated at 1,200 lbs at the lift pins, but your RFM center of gravity will be considerably further back than that. The 3PH rating drops to 670 lbs at 2' behind the lift pins. If your RFM weighs 400 lbs, it should lift it OK, but you'll need front counter weight, which could be the FEL. However, cutting with the FEL on doesn't sound like fun to me, so you may need a bunch of suitcase weights to hang off the front weight bracket. But beware, the suitcase weights won't fit with the grill gaurd on.

Here is a setup that worked for this tree farmer. The mower is a 54" Woods. I thought I had a better picture of the front weights, but he did have a full compliment of them installed. The mower is a rear discharge since he said that a side discharge mower would spread grass clippings on his Christmas trees, and kill the lower branches.....

You can always have a moune made to go around the brush guard. I actually got luck and got a mount from a CUB mower that with a little tweaking actually fit around on the BX 24. Besides, kubota want oo much for the weight mount. The only problem is that I need an extra half inch so I dont have to take the weights off the tractor when I use the FEL.

Mowing with FEL is not fun depending ont he terrain and obstacles. I have caught a few trees trying to do it. ANd the fact that it raises the center of gravity may not help your situation.

I have the MMM, while the manuvablity of it is great, leaving it on when doing FEL work, it can be hard on it. I have a lot of dings in mine from rocks, and have also lodge a good amount of dirt under the thing.

They are not a lot of fun to put on, but a concrete area, it isn't too bad.

One more thought to put in. A reaf finish mower is a ground contact mower. Meaning the full weight of the mower is on the ground and if the ground is wet you will rut it up. The MM is suspended and will not rut as badly.
