2425 question

I have a new 2425 that I really love, beats the old 8n bush hogin' hands down. After using it about 10 hrs I'm getting better aquainted with all the levers but there is a knob on the top of the hydraulic lift assembly that I can't identify. It is right under the front of the seat. What is it?

It controls the speed that the 3 point lowers. There is a set screw in the handle that needs to be loosened before adjusting. Many have found theirs stuck and have used wd40 to help loosen.
