It looks like your Kioti man gave you a big line of B.S. To start with LS does make some tractors for New Holland. Models like the Boomer 30,35,40, and 50. Plus more models. You can check it out by going to a New Holland dealer and looking at the serial number tag on the tractor.
Reading his post I took it that it wasn't the Kioti dealer saying this but some of the other dealers he went to were.

i went ahead and joined the world of tractors. My Kioti 2510 will be here by the end of the week. Getting a tooth bar for the FEL, tires are being loaded, and I'm still shopping for a box scrape, a rake and a rotary mower. Will try to get those through a farm auction or Craigslist. What sold me on the Kioti was ground clearance, good overall specs and weight, and a dealer who appears good to work with and not BS spewing as a few of the others were. I was told TYM was going out of business, that LS has nothing to do with New Holland, that this brand and the other are junk made from Chinese parts. Be nice if they could sell on the basis of what they have and not what is wrong with the others. I know there have to be some good used machines out there but all in all, given what I need, prices new and used, and my being a tractor virgin this seemed to be a good way to go. I won't put tons of hours on it so it should be in the family a long time. Hey 747driver I'm not all that far from you in N. GA

I also took it that the other dealers badmouthed other brands.

Branson is a division of Kukje Machinery, owned by Dongkuk Steel. Dongkuk has revenue of over $6 Billion.

They've had a technology agreement with Yanmar since 1980, built some John Deere equipment since 1987, and supplied Cummins with engines since 2002.

Daedong (parent of Kioti) has revenue of about $10 billion.
Kubota has revenue of around $13 billion.
John Deere has revenue of around $38 billion.

Ain't nobody going anywhere....

If any dealership/sales person makes bad comments about other brands they immediately loose my business!!

I have also heard so many different tales from people who have been brain washed into believing that the brand they chose is the best because people who hadn't a clue told them something. One of my favorites is the guessing game they play when they state things like quality in the build of this is at least 80% of the other brand but without any real knowledge of the internals or tolerance that the parts are built to they really have NO CLUE and are just guessing based on a bias that they have developed due to some story someone told them.

My one neighbor told me to stay away from one brand because it is known for breaking axels, I researched for 6 months on line talked to many owners of different models of that brand and could not find one person who broke an axel. I went back to the neighbor and asked him which size tractor? His answer was "OH I'm not sure but the guy over the hill said so" I asked the guy over the hill and he said his friend had a problem with his. I got in contact with the friend and asked and he openly admitted he rammed the tractor down the hill almost flipping it and broke the axel when he hit the boulder at the bottom. So what happened was someone saw that the tractor had a broken axel and needed fixed and assumed the worst without knowing and told someone else and then the next thing you know everyone thinks its a poor quality machine when in fact its built every bit as good as the next brand and in some cases better but since its not a Kubota or a deere the rumors persist

It was the Branson dealer that was quick to trash the others. The LS guy did it as well and yes that doesn't sit well with me. Branson said TYM was going under which surprised me as I hadn't heard anything but he knew. Went home and did some more digging and read that Branson had filed for protection and was healthy again so it was being sold. I'm sure most of the brand's are fine but the co had what I wanted and the dealer seemed to shoot straight (Anderson, SC)

It's not just tractors, it is life in general. Trash the other guys, don't tell me what is good about your product and why I should buy it! Ha! Politics is a prime example, trash them, but WHY you? Good luck, the kioti should be a great tractor. Neighbor has one and she's had no problems.
