Checking to see if anyone has come up with a different solution for replacing the hydraulic steel high pressure line that leaks under the seat, from the pump to the control valve.. Possibly with a hose. The fitting that I think would be an issue is the one at the pump with an O ring and 3 bolts. The selector valve has a banjo fitting..Attached a picture where the leak is marked yellow.

Figure the tubing diameter, cut the bad section and use a short piece of hydraulic hose with compression fittings. DIN2353 fittings for metric tubing.

That's what I thinking, but I was unsure if a compression type fitting would hold, 2400 lbs pressure....Thanks I'll look into it..

Hydraulic rated compression fittings can handle a lot of pressure.

I've worked on plastic injection machines where the high pressure hydraulic system pretty much only used these DIN2353 fittings. That system would go up to 10,000 PSI.

I need to cut the steel line 12mm OD, any suggestions? Need a mini cutter, but most if none will do hard steel. Other option is a fine tooth hack saw , but trying not to get shavings in the pipe.., but If necessary I'll disconnect the ends and blow it out..

Uses one of these when I did the hard lines on my loader.

May have to try that, if nothing else, after disconnecting both ends to gain more room.....I have to grind the outer part of a 15/16 closed end wrench to get to the banjo fitting bolt under the seat....

I can't help being curious about what you're asking about. Is this the line in question? If so, what is the leak you're trying to repair? Next question, what makes you think that line would be so hard you can't cut it with a tubing cutter? I've cut similar lines on other tractors many times with a standard tubing cutter without issue.
