i finally got my bracket done for my single stage older 47 inch blower.. fits like a charm!! now I have to work on figuring out a way to get a drive shaft to it from the mid PTO..

does anyone happen to know if I hook a shaft directly to where the pulley is on this older snowblower if I will have too much/not enought pto speed??

I have a 47" blower on my 2520 and it works great. Throws the snow 40'. Real wet snow will plug it sometimes but normal snow is no problem. When there isn't more than an inch or two, I just use a box blade to quickly scrape the driveway and then blow the piles I've made with the blower. It saves wear and tear and is faster for those light snowfalls.

I would think it would not have enough, but I've not converted one to know.

The 47" single-stage snowthrower (not the 47" two-stage snowblower) was driven off of belts from the shaft/pulley off of a lawn tractor (like a JD110). I'm not sure of the RPM but I would doubt that it matches what you'd get off of the mid-PTO of your 2520.

Again - not sure of the answer here...

Good Luck!
