Hi Guys,
Got my new JD 2520 and must thank many of you here for all the great info.
It helped me in making my decision for sure !
As you can see I've put er to use
I have noticed that the fuel sight glass seems quite white on colour making it almost impossible to see through without a bright light.
In the JD online videos you can see the sight glass as it should be...clear.
My sales guy said that all of the new tractors are like this but he remembers a few years back when they were all clear and easy to see through.
Any ideas on this guys ??
I'm about to start calling the regional sales people here in Canada for a chat.
One FYI point to make.....it took over a week for my dealer to get the 46 hoe to work because the front brackets were too big for the loader supports. Seems JD has started making the 200CX loader square supports that bolt to the side of the tractor smaller (about 3 5/16") and never redesigned the front loader brackets. As a temp fix my dealer put in two plates about 3/8" - 1/2" thick to take up the slack. I'll see if I can get a few pics
My only thinking is that they have made the loader supports smaller to cut down on the front tire rubbing issues.....maybe ??
