2520 water seperator sight "glass"

The water separator bowl on my 2320 engine is clear enough that you can see the filter and the red ring inside. However, there is no drain valve on the bottom of the bowl. One must remove the entire plastic bowl to drain and recycle the contaminates. I put the small amount of fuel I get from the bowl into my used oil container that I take to the recyclers.

My sales guy dropped in today on his way home and we were talking about the fuel seperator not being easy to see through. He said they just got in the replacement 2520 and it's like mine.
He did mention again that a couple years back that the ones on all JD tractors had a clear plastic, Hopefully on Friday I'll have the time to call JD about this one and take a pic for you guys too.

Yep, my 2210 has a nice glass-clear plastic bowl. It is also located outside of the engine shrouding so it's easy to see at a glance. Maybe you could re-adapt the 2210 bowl.
