Hi all, just purchased a 2017 2555 Shuttle with cab. I had a JD 3032 Hydrostatic tractor before.
Here’s my question as a noob to clutches on tractors
...as I let out the clutch it is very smooth in all low gears in low range and 1st & 2nd gear in medium range. 3rd gear in medium range at low RPM is smooth, but if I set the RPM to 1500-1800 it shakes really bad as I release the clutch. Is this just too high of gear (ex lugging a standard pickup??) Like I mention if I idle all the way down it pulls smooth as the clutch is released.
I just noticed this recently, as I read on this forum, a possible reason for MIL light is long idle times....apparently I did that too because the light is on now

So after learning this, I idle up during use but it’s been counter productive as the shaking at takeoff happens in 3 medium now.
Any guidance/suggestion is appreciated!
BTW....Tractor has 500 hours purchased from a dealer on consignment. It looks brand new so I can’t imagine that it has been abused
