26 inch tires on kubota rtv1100

Ya I hear that. I need to take it easy on this machine... I want it to last. I was thinking of doing a 14 inch rim on it but that limits my choices of tires i can go with running 26s. I really like the executioners but they only come in a 12 from what I can find. Mud bugs are looking like one of the only tires i like that have a 14x26 option. Tommy I saw another post you did somewhere saying zillas have that size but on the website it's not showing that size. Still searching for options...

Oh ya I forgot to mention I took the tracks off and put the stock tires on and no clunking noise, I couldn't find what mount was making the noise for the life of me so I wanted to eliminate the u joint as the issue... It was one of the mounts. before the snow hits il tighten everything up and put them back on. But wow! What a difference in speed! Lol. This thing is so frickin slow with the tracks on it's painful. I will definitely not be running them unless it's for around the farm in the snow. This machine is a blast and more then enough speed for me with tires on. Almost regret ordering the turbo but I guess one I get it installed it may help with power and speed with the tracks on.

I'm looking for some after market tires and rims for my 1100 and was wondering if you can go 12" 589's on the front of a 1100 as well as the back instead of the 9" fronts. The factory turf tire is 12 and 12 on front.

don't think 12" would work in the front thats alot of tires to turn when they get glogged with sticky mud. plus they will probably rub if you put a tire that wide in the front.it's better to go with 9" in the front and 12" in the rear.one of the good things about that is your back tire will have atleast 3" of ground to grab when your in a hole but if you have 4 tires the same size it's gonna be hard for the rear tires to make it through a rut that is just as wide as they are..alot of people who mud ride are going with skinnys all the way around and thats fine but you also see them buy a bigger tire every year because they start to get stuck in their own rut .i always stayed with the widest tires i could fit and make it through alot of holes that guys with 30" get stuck in.their tires are only about 9" wide where mine are 12"my tires never see the bottom of their ruts.i now run just outlaws in the mud they bite really good but they are soft and the road will eat them up unlike the 589's

i do think they make a 14" zilla but i do also think that all 14" tires start at 27" tall i don't think they make any 14" 26" tires.

Tommy,
The 12x12 front turf tire is a different shaped tire than the ATV's and may not bother, but I'm like you on the wide front it may rub especially if I get 26". There's a lot of good looking tires on the website I'm sending (GBC-Dirt Commander and Grim Reaper) look good and they also have IBT and Kenda Bearclaw HTR's. There's several choices in a 14" rim, but not near as many. If you had a choice would you get the 12' or 14' wheels.
