Like I said there is a video on You Tube of a 46D with a 270TLA loader on it. Another thing that is confusing to me is the much heavier rear lifting capacity of the 46 & 54 as opposed to the 55.

Can you tell me where this brush guard info is ? I need to show the dealer this as they don't know Diddley Squatt about a Boomer. I have the front bumper and front suitcase weights on my TC34DA and when the loader is used for digging below ground level the weights make contact with the hyd. lines on the FEL and has bent them. I bought the correct suitcase weights from the NH dealer as well as the 14LA loader when I bought the tractor new and I have always reasoned that something was not properly engineered. There should never be contact between the loader and approved accessories on the tractor. I never even mentioned it to the dealer as I knew they would never have a fix for it.

Yes, the brochure information about the cab lights and rear wiper seemed to contradict in the same paragraph. After them assuring me yesterday that those top mounted work lights and rear wiper would be on my tractor I am gonna raise Holy Hades if they aint on there when it comes. Another thing on their website they are still listing the 925GBH BH as the largest one for the 55. I don't know how many years it has been since the 935GBH replaced the 925 but NH needs to take a look at their website and do a little updating.

I just misspoke. The 260TLA doesn't offer a different grille guard. The 250 does and I wouldn't be surprised if it would fit your 55.

One thing to check on is a weight bracket because they say it's not compatible with a grille guard. Unless you make your own like I did.

The parts department or New Holland online parts is a good source for accessories.

Thank you for your reply and info. The dealer said they would not put a 270 on it even if it would fit. They don't want the liability if something breaks and I can understand that.

I haven't made up my mind on front weights on this one. I could only put a maximum of 2 on my TC34DA. I don't know how many you can put on the 55. I have 2 sets of rear wheel weights that I bought from the dealer when I bought the 34DA that I never put on. They are black and I was gonna paint them blue and install them but never got around to it. I will probably put them on the 55 if they will fit. Now that I have established contact with someone that has a cab would you tell me how the air and heat work. Can you work in the winter with your coat off? Will the air keep you cool when it's 90 degrees like it is here in NC? Also, I ordered the radio but other than beinf AM-FM do you know if it's stereo or not ? I don't know what the dealer charges but you can buy them on Ebay for 146.00.

Check to see if the 55 wheels have holes for weights. My 40 did not so I put washer fluid in the tires instead.

Heater works very well. No coat required in northern Wisconsin.

I've had mid 80's and the air worked very good. The condenser can plug so keep an eye on that. Mine started to get warm one day and it was the condenser was full of cottonwood and dandelion seeds. I used an air comb to blow it out and all was good.

For loader work the radio is fine but for PTO work I use Bluetooth headphones. Not that the cab is extremely loud but with my 7ft rear finish mower and PTO RPM I'd have to turn the radio up too much. So headphones make sense for me. Buy your own radio. The factory one is too expensive IMO. My radio is factory and I cannot pick up even local stations.

Thanks for the info on the heat and air. I don't do a lot on the tractor work in the dead of summer like I used to because I just can't take the heat like I used to and I let things get pretty ragged around here that I used to keep nicely cut. I used to keep the whole neighborhood streets plowed of snow but the last few years I have let it slide as I can't take the cold either like I could. I did buy me a hydraulic angle snow plow last summer and used it last winter but it is almost to heavy for the TC34DA. The 55 should handle it better. I think I will enjoy the cab the best of all things. I was under the impression that the radios selling on Ebay were the same ones that came from the factory. I don't know what a factory one looks like so I can't compare them. That don't sound right about your radio not even picking up local stations. Are you sure the antenna is still hooked up?

Here is a link to the factory radio. Or at least this is the factory radio that was put in mine. I think they are only 4" speakers so don't have to high of expectations.

If you bought your own single din radio there is a pin out description in the LS section for the wiring.

Sony DSX-A1U Car Stereo: Amazon.in: Electronics

The dealership replaced the antenna but that didn't help. Surprised that the antenna isn't grounded and that may be part of the problem. I swapped radios and that one didn't pick up stations either.

Every radio antenna lead I have ever seen including the one used on Boomer cabs has a ground conductor in the sheath that connects positively to the radio chassis. An additional ground would serve no purpose.
