2615 Oil filters

I was just browing my dealer's web site and though I would check on filters. One hundred bucks for an oil filter?!? Is this the going rate for Mahindra, and if it is, are there other places to get a better price on them?

That would be a typo for sure. Maybe it was for a set of filters?

Let me know which filter you are looking it and i can get you the retail price. The Mitz filters are pricey though.

I bought the engine oil and 2 hydro filters in the spring for about $150. A month or so ago I bought the air filter, $103. The parts guy said Mahindra just had a 25% price increase. That puts a set of filters, including fuel, for a HST at about $300. Add to that 7 or so gallons of hydro fluid and a few quarts of engine oil and the regular maintainence is push'n $400. I will be looking elsewhere for filters. www.filter1.com

I just bought 2 oil filters @ $9.60 each for 60004wd. These are Mahindra brand filters.
I got 2 engine oil filter,2 fuel filters,1 hyd. filter, Owner's manual and service manual for $158.00. I called a Mahindra dealer about 60miles from me and they order the manuals and filters and shiped to me with in a week. I just called them monday for a starter solenoid and I had it the next day.

The retail on the air filter for a 2615 from Mahindra is 61.04. That dealer must be doing well! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I am also a Cub Cadet dealer and the same filter from Cub Cadet retails for 55.53.

The response I got from the sales at the dealership was that he would have his parts department check it out. I've read that the 2615 is the same as the Cub Cadet 7265. How much is an engine oil filter on the 7265? I might just be ordering from you rather than the dealer I bought the tractor from.

cyberkrazze, I'm up in Maine and at a Mahindra Open House this spring I asked a rep, I believe he was from India, if the filters were the same as for a Cub. He basically said that the filters would come from Mitsubishi and then they would stock them so Mahindra is probably going to put a % on the items to make more $.

Thats what I figured. As I said earlier, I shall be looking elsewhere next time.
