2620 / 2920 quarter inching valve question

   / 2620 / 2920 quarter inching valve question #11
I have a B2920 and a 5' Bush Hog Squeeler rough cut mower. The 3 point hitch will definitely leak down on it. You can use the quarter inching aspect to bring it back up a little at a time, but it requires keeping an eye on it or the front of the mower is dragging. Now that we have much of the property mowed, we use the MMM to keep it up which is much easier and use the rough cut mower when we want to take on some area that we aren't sure what is in there. I did find that tightening the knob near you calf that adjust how fast the 3 point hitch drops helps, but does not eliminate the problem. Maybe using a lighter mower would also help. I believe the manual recommended 54" but the dealer said the tractor could handle the 60" one fine and other that that issue, it does.
