I recently took delivery of a new 2620H and noticed there was a light on the dash for 4x4, but it only lit up when you first turned the key on. I figured that there must be a way to make it work so I decided to try. I found a wiring diagram on here for a DK 4510 and used it to determine that pin A22 on the back of the dash needed a ground applied to illuminate the light. After testing that, I then needed to add a switch on the 4x4 linkage to activate the light. I chose under the tractor to mount the switch and then ran a wire to the dash. One terminal of the momentary switch connected to the dash wire and the other to ground. To mount the switch bracket, I used an unused threaded hole in the transmission. It works perfectly and it only cost about $15 in parts.
