The 2x3 tubing is .125 material,I can't see it folding up as I try to get the blower to dig in to the hardpack by raising to whole tractor front end off the ground, attempting to get the full length skid to dig in. Makes for no steering and sometimes works! Have had no problems bending anything, the blower is very sturdy. Yes, the blower is on all winter,mid Nov to early April. Factory skids still on, just raised up, they don't even touch the ground with this setup. I really don't have a crown on my gravel drive, the first time I used the blower as delivered, the crown ended up about 30 ft away! It will pick up rocks the size of tennis balls the same way--watch out!!--but not 2x8 lumber--don't ask!
