Hey ya'll. Hope everyone had good Holidays. I have a grey mkt yanmer 2700. My hydraulic fluid is milky. Now back onthe farm, that meant that you had water in your fluid. My question is where is it coming from? This tractor looks like the hydraulics/3point fliud had its own seperate reservoir that sits up under the seat. I have 2 dipsticks, one in the tranny and one in reservoir under the seat. I can drain this reservoir with a plug at the bottom, but how do I get the fluid out of the lines. Thanks ya'll.

A good suspect may be your shift boot. A good downpour will be enough to contaminate your hydraulic fluid.

By elevating the front end you will get the majority of the hydraulic fluid down far enough to drain.

You don't want them dry. It could damage your pump on start up. I usually drain it run it and drain again if it is really bad. Sea Foam makes an additive for trannys that helps pick up some moisture. Check your pick up screen. If it is bad and has some rust it could be clogged.
