2705 transmission 8 vs 24

The mechanical shuttle 8 forward 6 reverse is the best correct vs the power shift 24 forward?

Is there an easy way to tell the difference in the cab or anywhere else on the tractor?

Is there a serial number break for them?

Any advice be great thanks!

the eight speed won't have the 'low, intermediate,high' on the shifter ....
and no, the eight speed isn't better ..
