Tires 2720 problem Lift arms rubbing back tires

/ 2720 problem Lift arms rubbing back tires #11
Well my dealer called me and told me that they flipped the tires around and that fixed the problem..they said they will deliver it back to me tommorow...I hope it was a 100% fix and not just some of the tiime...I will let you all know when I get my tractor back!!!!!

There in no reason to think the fix was flipping the tires. That is not a fix in my books the dealer needs to install the correct bars on your machine or tell them you will be calling JD with this problem.

For what it's worth, My 2720 is a 2010 , bought in November of that year, and it came with the new lift bars, so they are aware of that problem and just want to take your money. Don't put up with it !!!

I received delivery of a new 2520, in September of 2010, and it had the "New Style" arms on it, and it was definetely a "factory" order. That was one of the things I was kinda' concerned about, and was watching for, as I had been reading all the posts around that time about the problems with the rear lift arms contacting the tires, but mine came through with the new ones.

I wouldn't accept the "turn the tires around" fix, JD knew there was a problem and they fixed it. I don't think that JD considered it a "recall", but if someone complained to my knowledge, the arms were replaced.

Don't forget guys,the OP (brian22) was back in 2009.
Wonder if he ever got the problem remedied with the proper lower arms.
