Anybody know how to tell, or what exactly distinguishes the 2750/55s made in Germany from the ones manufactured in Mexico?

Serial number tag lists country of origin. Are you sure you're not referring to a 2735 built in Monterrey, Mexico??

Tractor data lists the 2750 and 2755 both as being manufactured in Mannheim, Germany and Saltillo, Mexico. All of the 2355s were made in Mannheim, but the 2550/55s and 2750/55s were made in Germany and Mexico. When you get to the 2950/55s it goes back to all German again.
I didn't know if certain variants were built in Mexico, and others in Germany, and if you could tell apart by looking at photos. Example, were all cab or MFWD tractors made in Germany, where all open station or 2wd tractors manufactured in Mexico. Were the Hi Lo trans made in Germany and regular collar shifts made in Mexico That's what I'm looking for, distinguishing features that tattle tale the origin.

I overlooked the Saltillo, Mexico at Tractordata.com the first time I looked. Living in Texas and having worked for a JD dealer when 2750's were new I've never seen one built in Mexico. I still think country of origin will be on the serial number tag. All tractors I've seen built in Mexico has Spanish symbols and language on instrument panel. Here's the parts catalog for a Mexican built 2755 but you better be able to "read Spanish fluently". I was going to post a photo of these(calcomania) but there was no illustration in PC.
