I bought a Whelen Century 11" Amber lightbar from these people last summer. Great prices and fast service and the product is high quality. Several of the brands they sell are used by police, fire and ambulances throughout the northeast.

Apparently not all their products are Made in the USA (Whelen is from what I read).

Seems like it was about a year or so ago when there were lots of posts about cheap LED work light installations. Mine included. I have been using my "new" cheap 18W LED flood lights to clear snow after dark, in blowing snow, and I couldn't be happier with them. Old Kubota, iffy alternator output, so I have one aimed forward and one backwards. Since I don't plow at over 4-5mph, no problem with flood lights and the fact they only illuminate maybe 30' in front and back. I still have my older incandescent 55W work lights, but the white light from the new LEDs seems much better.

I just ordered a couple of LED lights from newegg: Reg: $149.00 -- now $19.00. 27W. 2000 Lumen.

re: someone noted in previous post about lumen output ratings: these lights are rated from 10 to 30V. Since I'm hooking up to 12v, I may not be getting the full 2,000 lumen output. Hella may be use a de-rated value for 12V operation.

This is true, which is why I made no claims about ALL their products being USA made.
I have a blue/white strobe on the back, under my canopy any it's a blinder for sure. If anywone doesn't see it coming up from behind they must have their eyes closed!

Never seen a tractor with blue and white lights on under a canopy, but then not everyone has NSA clearance like I do!:laughing:

Many of our snow plows have blue flashers and it seems most are on the right side of the truck, though I'm not sure if it is a standard so you know which side it is and thus where he's headed.

here in idaho you can have white, yellow and red flashers/strobes only. blue is a no no
