The model makes a different in troubleshooting your problem. Your tractor uses electro hydraulic clutch, knowing whether the PTO works would help. But I'd be looking at either a fuse or wiring problem in the clutch circuit. Also you might have a place to add fluid for the clutch. Had a Toyota and if fluid was low clutch won't work right. Plus the chance a bracket might have moved that mount the assembly. Thanks for responding so quickly. Sorry I misinformed you about the model. It is a 2310 HST 4WD. 292.6 hours, new in 2004, oil level at rear sight glass above the low level mark. I bought it last year from a neighbor who bought it new and had it service regularly from a local dealer who is now out of business. I have not used the PTO yet but the power steering and hydraulics work fine it works fine in the low range but cannot upshift it into the higher ranges. When I first bought it I was able to change ranges. Also having a few issues with start-up and shut down. I use the manual fuel shutoff.

Be sure and check to see if your low on fluid in the clutch, you probably have a spot to add like you would on cars.
Does your 2310 HST only have a brake and not a clutch. And you have to be completely stopped to change transmission from low or high position. Can't find much about it not even a owners manual from Mahindra. May have found a TYM manual just not sure of their numbers.
If you send me a private email with phone number I'll give you a call.Might be easier over phone.Has 2 brake pedals left side, 1 pedal right side. I have all manuals and cannot find anything about the lo,med,hi shifter except in the schematics. 4 wheel drive not engaged, PTO's not engaged, rear axle interlock not engaged.
Glad you got it working, I guess that I was under the wrong impression that it had just stopped from being able to shift the transmission, didn't ask right question. But Thomas was right on with his posting.OK folks, at 70 plus years I have a hard time getting on my hands and knees. So today I finally got out the creeper and crawled under and disconnected the shift lever from the transmission and found the pivot rod and lever was froze due to being rusted (welded like). I lubed it up real good and now the shifter seems to work fine. I only had to crawl under about 10 times plus to get the right tools and do the job. I want to thank all for their advice and troubleshooting and directing me to the answer.
