2816 Missing Parts

Hello all,

I have a rather difficult question. On my 2816 there are a couple of rubber plugs that seem to keep water and dirt out of the tranny. They are located directly between your feet on the transmission. Mine has two and I'm missing one of them. It looks as if water or dirt could get in this hole. Is this something to worry about. I have no idea of how long it's been missing, maybe since new. Let me what yall think.

That is an issue with some of the Japanese (Mitsubishi) Mahindras. The plugs are soft and easily dislodged getting on and off the tractor. I have even seen new tractors arrive without them in place. A little silicone sealer works well and is easily removed if you ever need access to the bosses in the housing. Just my $.02 !
