Planters 296 international

Hey guys I have an old 296 international planter with no seed plates will the plastic plates work or do I have to use metal? This is my first post I have checked this site before and y'all have been very helpful hoping y'all can help with this also

Ok this is what I have found so far steel plates #3302a,3127a,3231a, all unavailable at least everywhere I've called. And plastic should work is what I was told. My question now is where can I get plastic plates and how can I match them without old plates to do a physical comparison. If anyone knows anymore plate numbers they would be greatly appreciated.
