Well we have had more rain by noon today than I think we have seen in a 24 hour period in a very long time and it is now freezing temps but rain has moved out. Glad got the equipment excised when it was 70F+ and found the dead battery on the F700 and hopefully the damage is not too bad. Spring is on the way because the days are getting longer.

You guys further east just wait a day or so.. We were in the 60's Friday.. now we are below freezing and looking for ice and snow later. And way colder Sunday and Monday.. just wait a day or two and you will be cool too. Looks like LA California area is expecting below freezing temps. Look out orange crop. Get out the smudge pots.

I was at MCAS El Toro (Orange County) 69-71. We had at least one winter where the smudge pots had to be put to use. Seems it comes in cycles.

Its 16F -9C this morning, which is pretty cold for us with a high expected of 34F. We were in the 60's Friday.
