Well got the Advantech subfloor down on Saturday and was fixing to do the last half sheet and the bottom fell out and it rained several hours, I sure am glad you guys told me about the Advantech as it has been raining everyday since and this project is 100 miles from my home so I can't get over there to broom off the water everyday, so I covered it with tarps and plastic after it dried out on Sunday before I went home we will see how it goes from here. PS I couldn't believe how easy it was to put together, fit like a puzzle. IMG_20180407_185608678_HDR.jpgIMG_20180408_173700971.jpg

You might actually be better off not covering Advantech.
When covered, sweating will keep the Advantech constantly moist under the cover.
When uncovered, the sun will quickly dry the Advantech surface.
Might not really make much difference either way though.

I'm sure the OP will be fine doing it his way for a hunting cabin, however since people mentioned sources.

I pulled out my framing book "modern carpentry". It says to stagger.

So then i checked in the AIA graphic standards (this is the architect's bible), and it says to stagger.

Finally pictures to let everyone know what you are talking about.

Regular OSB would probably have turned to mush.
Keep the pics coming please.

It'll take months before the advantech will swell. I've seen it left in a pond for months with no problems. The glue penetrates deep into the wood.

I believe advanctech has a 5 month exposure warranty which is phenomenal

I’ve heard claims of it surviving much longer. I wouldn’t loose much sleep over it for a couple weeks and I agree with not covering it with tarps. The wood is probably fine either way, but mold is more likely. I built some sideboards for my trailer with it. They were probably outside for a month before I decided to take them off, and they still looked fine.

Well it's definitely to late because I covered it when I left, my thinking was a little sweating was better than the 6+ inches of rain that we have got since I installed it, hopefully if everything works out maybe I can get it framed and dried in next weekend.
