No i don't have draft control on my 5100 but thats good info. when i bought my tractor i didn't even know a thing like that existed but i don't see it to be necessary

My neighbor has the same tractor but with AG tires and cast wheel weights. I've seen him pull 2x14's and 3x14's with it in Indiana clay-ish soil. He pulled the 2x14's in high gear and never slowed down. When pulling the 3x14's he said since it didn't have draft control he got a little deep and "pulled" the RPM's down a couple of times. Personally I'd look for 3x14's.

Draft control is not necessary if you are only going to plow small areas and don't mind working the position control to maintain the load on your tractor. If you are going to plow acres and acres, you would be glad to have it.

that was 10 acres and it was a pain to plow. Parts of it were very hard, parts of it were soft. A draft control would have made my life a lot easier.
