3 BX25 Questions.

1. Does everyone else notice that the steering wheel never centers in the same position after use. I bought a spinner knob to help with reach but its in a different spot after each use. Not like that on any other machine I have used.
2. When using the dump function on the loader will it raise the tractor off the ground at a normal push or do you have a second part of the dump cycle or detent (like the float position only dumping) to get full pressure to do so? kinda hard to explain.
3. when using the loader with the backhoe attached is it normal practice to put in both lock pins. I noticed tonight that the backhoe will work itself sideways a bit.
Besides those things I absolutley love this machine. Just trying to get all the quirks figured out. Oh the bx2660 seat is a no go. Dealer said it wont fit and its $700.00+ dollars thanks. Mike R.

1. normal. mine does same thing.
2. its a regen cirucuit, i find sometimes i need to push twice to get more down pressure when not in float mode.
3. I use the lock pins on my BH when I am transporting it or storing. THe boom can swing if not used for awhile and then go to work with loader. SOmetimes I just need to recenter it . I just find that when done using BH, putting in pins is a good way of preventing accidents or issues, so I hope you would follow my footsteps as well.

Thanks for the reply. I have been scouring the interrnet for answeres and came up with the same as you have said. The back hoe moving and the loader detent just threw me a bit. I run full size backhoes and loaders and never came across this before. But I also know each machine has its own personallity on how it wants to be run. Thats why I had to ask Thanks again. I think in question 2 he was talking about dump mode. In the BX-24, there is a detent when moving the lever all the way to the right that will lift the tractor off the ground. Normal dump will not lift the tractor. This can be handy when you get stuck and don't have the backhoe attached. You can carefully use this to creep the tractor forward an inch or so at a time.

1* That's normal with PS.
3*I don't use either pin but I check and adjust occasionaly.

Question 1. You will find if you put you steering wheel against the locks(as in full turn), the wheel will continue to turn but the front wheels won't continue to turn. This is normal, but of course will throw off the indexing of your spinner knob.

Thanks again for all the replys. Love this little mule. Mowed tonight with the 54" fine cut deck and it has lived up to my expectations. Of course I have no other kubota deck to compare to. thanks again. Mike. R
