That sounds simple enough. I am about 7000 miles from the tractor right now, so no way to check it. I am going home in a couple of weeks and will try the valve thing. It sounds like this may be a job for when I finish up my assignment here in West Africa in Dec. I should have lots of time on my hands then. I am in the market for a new cab model tractor, so when I get that, It would be a good time to work over the old Yannie. I had an issue with it when I got it (Vietnam rebuilt ) as it had all kinds of crude in the hydraulic system that kept stopping up the filters. I finally got that flushed out but perhaps some of it is messing with my valving now. It seems to work ok other than after it sets for 2 months at a time it seems to need to prime everything back up before the hydraulics will work. This only takes a minute or so and then everything works. I am sure most of these tractors have the same design. They sure have more valving and such than the old 8N or the 70's model 9000 Ford I used to have.
