3 ph on 1920

I have a 2000 NH 1920 w/ FEL & 758C BH. The 3ph arms dropped when my dad was using it and now the swing cylinder for the BH is hitting the right side 3ph lift arm. I attempted to lift the arms but nothing happened. I turned the screw to the other position on the manifold without success. Any thoughts or advice greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bill C

Hi Billfires,
On my 1220, the 3PH won't function when the backhoe (756B)is attached (plugged into the hydraulic system). You may need to unplug the rear and front connectors to get the 3PH back up.

Yep.. On my NH 1920.. that power diverter block position will make a difference as to wher ethe oil goes, and when.. And also.. how is your backhoe plumbed? If it is ofo the 3pt handle, wanting it in the up position.. you may just have to disconnect it. Alternately.. something inthe 3pt may have given out.. perhaps a relief valve.. not letting the 3pt build pressure to lif the arms.. etc.

You will have to disconnect the power beyond hose going to the backhoe and re-connect it to the tractor's distribution block to activate the hitch. Moving the selector on the distribution block only disables the loader and backhoe in this instance, it won't enable the hitch.

It seems the manuals for this series tractor is really lacking. My recent post about the panel lights sort of illustreates that. I had several problems with my three point after I bought the tractor, they were all cockpit error but not addressed in the manual. I bought an aftermarket manual hoping it would help,
it is a very good manual but was strictly service.

Good thing this board exists to get help when you need it!

I have a 1720 with loader & 1 set of factory rear hyd ports.

So, where did you get the aftermarket service manual? I only see them for older tractors, have never run across one for a newer series like the 1720. Would be interested in one...

As to backhoe, with my setup could I just use the rear port to run a backhoe by locking the lever in the 'run' mode, and not work about a divider or power beyond port, etc.?
