3-point frozen - no up or down?

LincTex are you working on a 3510I if so from what I am reading you have 2 problems. First off if the 3 point was bleeding down it is more then likely a blown piston seal there is a new u-packing available for that tractor it is a part #TNA402999A9 and it replaces the old u-packing and both of the backup rings with the single new style. From the age of the tractor which is around 10 years I would say it is prbly about time to replace it. The other issue you are having could be that the backup ring broke off and sent a piece in the control valve there in turns locking the hydraulic system. If you pickup on the lift arms with your hands granted there is no implement lol you should be able to raise them and see if piston is not twisted{very Rare} and locked its self in the cylinder wall.

Bransonbuilder – yes, Sir – this is a 3510i model. It Hasn't gotten cold enough yet for me to get into tearing this thing apart yet. The loader still works, so I'm still using the tractor.

Thank you for supplying the part number! I would like to know what other parts need to be replaced while I am inside of there, for preventative measures. I wish I could find someone who can photocopy the service manual pages that walks me through the disassembly & reassembly process.

I can indeed lift up on the arms - so that means the piston isn't frozen to the cylinder wall? ..... That is some good news.

when removing the front of the cylinder case it is held 6 bolts that are 17mm you will also have to remove the main hydraulic line it is a 27mm banjo bolt so be careful not to loose the 2 copper washers that go on it once you remove the head to the cylinder you will see the top of the piston sometimes it can be pulled out with a magnet or some needle nose pliers or the other option is to raise the arms and drop them at a high rate of speed and it will push the cylinder out the front, no other parts are usually needed to reseal piston other then u-packing
