Why would my 3 point hitch not want to raise when I pull the lever? This has happened 3 or 4 times. I slide the lever back and forth several times, rev the tractor up, even shut it down and start it back up again, and nothing. Then it worked, note that this has only happened 3 or 4 times and on 2 different days. All other hydraulics worked fine. This is a L-4310, the hydraulic oil is full. Tractor has got only 210 hours. Anybody know what's going on?

I have no idea but I would check the linkage to make sure there is not something loose and slipping.

At some point the linkage probably turns a shaft going into the transmission housing. Maybe that point is slipping, or something else. Doesn't hurt to check anyway...good luck and here's hoping you find the solution easily!

Next time it does it, wiggle the FEL joystick a bit to make sure it's completely centered (i.e., valve closed), then see if your 3-point won't raise.
