Maybe someone will come along that knows. I don't do old tractors but I do know that every tractor ever made will have them.

I couldn't locate a hyd oil filter or screen in Ford NAA parts catalog. Maybe I overlooked it when searching parts catalog.

It could also be there is a lot of sludge inside the case (if there are no screens or filters) and that is impeding the flows.

Like I said, I have no idea about them but I do know that on any unit that old (and probably not had any fluid changes, or at least recent ones, sludge would be an issue.

I'm not 100 percent sure but I think they do not have any filters or screens for the chassis fluids, just the engine oil.

That's what I'm thinking too. Some had vane type hydraulic pumps. Those things will eat just about anything you feed it. Gear pumps have a problem with dirty oil.
