I was using my new bx2370 with only 9 hours today and noticed that when i raise the 3PH slowly by moving the lift lever only partially it makes a loud whine noise in the first inch or so of movement on the lever. The noise is almost identical to the noise that the 3PH makes when you get the lift arms all the way to the top where it sounds like the hydraulic relief is kicking in except it just keeps making this noise until i move the lever a little farther in lift direction. The 3PH does not initially lift that i noticed when in this position and making the noise and once i move past this point the hitch starts to move and noise goes away. I tried not to hold it there to long to see what happened because i was fearful it would damage something. The tractor did not do this that i recall until today. I got the manual out and read about the lift mechanism and the quarter inching valve because i was fearful that perhaps i wasn't supposed to use the lever "in between" the neutral position and full speed but saw that its designed to be used like this for intricate / slow speed adjusting of the 3PH and use of the QIV function. I also saw in the manual that is specifically states the 3PH should not make any noise while lifting and that if it does then it needs adjustment or servicing by the dealer to prevent damage from further use.

I need a little input and advice.... is there a chance this is normal and i just first noticed it today? Does anyone else BX make this whine/noise when slowing moving the lift lever from neutral to fast? Is this the kind of noise you guys think the manual is warning about or do you think it refers to something else? Thanks everyone.

I believe that is normal. Think of slowly opening a faucet. The hydro fluid is going through a small opening as you slowly raise the 3ph.

wonder why i just noticed it and what noise do you think the manual warns the user to watch for?

Normal. There should also be an adjustment valve somehwere (normally under seat) that can affect hydraulics noise of the 3-pt. Might need to open it a little more (but no harm either way).
