3-Point Hitch Trailer Mover

I have the red version of this one:

3-Point Receiver Hitch (Orange) | eBay

I have had some mishaps using it running a 7ft plow off the receiver and it has never bent, broke, or anything. Very nice, not overly heavy, well designed. It would be plenty for the OP's size tractor.

Better to use a quick hitch and drawbar for skidding logs. Amazon has the trailer movers light to heavy. Bought a $60 one and move 7,000# trailers many times. Not all are quick hitch compatable if that matters.

Drill a hole in the triangular gussets next to the receiver tube

A friend of mine welded a receiver on to his box blade.. real nice set up and saves from changing attachments a little

Heavy hitch. Hang suitcase weights and use the 2 receiver for the trailer.

This is what I did years ago. My boxblade lives on my tractor as it is great ballast against my FEL and is my most-used implement. I welded some very heavy angle iron on top of the back and then blew a hole in for the 2" ball to mount. I can grab my trailer quickly, and have the boxblade as my anchor/parking brake still. (my parking brake has always sucked from new and can't be trusted to hold) I do have a 3 pt drawbar beefed-up and with a 2" and a 2 5/16" ball welded onto it but haven't used it in quite awhile. I made it to set halves of doublewide trailers into position on lots in Florida after the hurricanes of 2004. I used one of those drawbar locks to keep it from rotating but it still had quite a bit of slop back n' forth. The boxblade setup has no slop and is very convenient to use. I move my empty gooseneck around with my loader bucket curled and the hitch in a corner of it.

I REALLY like my King Kutter trailer mover. I would challenge anyone to find one heavier built. They make 2 models; this is the heavier one. It has clevis style hook-up (stronger) for the lower arms and comes with a chain and adjustable connector to attach to your drawbar to prevent upward movement. It also has a spot for trailer breakaway chains to connect to. I have a ball mount with a hook welded on it that I use on this trailer mover and I have pulled trees and everything using it. Highly recommend.
