I find that occasionally I drag the back edge of my carryall. On level ground I have a measured 11.5 inches from ground to the bottom of the frame. Front edge closest to the the 3point is half that. Picture with quart oil bottle for reference.

Does my hook up look OK?

The way you hook up is right and not much can be changed there to give you any extra height.

The main problem I see and I can't understand why they did it, is why they put the lower pins so high on the implement? Even on the picture on their website with a bigger tractor, a Kubota L series, the implements sit way too low.

They could've put the lower pins easily 4 to 6" lower and that would provide plenty of ground clearance when the 3 pt if fully raised.

THe hookup looks fine, if you are looking for more lift height, you would need to drill an extra set of holes in your side arms, above the current pins , mine have 2 sets of holes there.

Thank you. As I've looked at it I pretty much felt they needed to be lower.

On mine, I cut 6" out of the uprights below the lower pin mounts and rewelded it. Plenty of clearance now.

I had one just like that with my jd 2305. It doesn't fit garden tractors very well.

I welded some new, lower ears on mine for the lift arms. And with careful measuring, I welded a top-link ear so it still fits my quick hitch.
