When I remove the backhoe to put on the splitter, I use the rear remotes. The next time I split I will try the backhoe connections. As far as speed goes....I never have to wait with the Split Fire as it splits both ways. (Don't have to wait for the blade to return)

get the 4 way, and log lift it's an awesome table. you can easily fit 16" pieces next to one another on the table. if you cut to longer that 16" consider one of the larger lengths. the 24" is like 32.5-33" between the uprights so you can just barely fit 2 16" pieces on the splitter at the same time. If I could do it again I would go with a 28" model.How do you like it... would you buy it again if you had it to do over?
