I converted an atv sprayer for a friends JD to 3pt, so I decided to do my trailer version for the BX. Here is a picture of what I started with.

Here is the frame I built that hooks to the 3 point.

Here is a picture of the back of the sprayer, it only has two spray nozzles but they have a 110 degree spray pattern. After playing with the height of the boom and pump pressure it does about an eight foot path per pass.

Here is a veiw of the other side. I mixed up some 2-4-d and sprayed three of the neighbors yards to keep their weeds from coming into my yard. Then I mixed some bug killer and rode around the house and barn spraying everything with the wand from the tractor seat. It seems to work good, after I cleaned the pump inlet screen which clogged up. The sprayer has been sitting for years I didn't like towing the trailer for it. I always rinse the system with fresh water and run RV antifreeze through it. I do the same with the pressure washers and it seems to keep everything running properly.

Hey that looks great! I currently have a 25 gal sprayer sitting on my ATV but I have to refill it about 5 times to spray round up around the property. A PITA.
Part of my property is too hilly to mount a tank on my JD tractor so I'll be building a trailer for a 100 poly tank and pull behind my ATV.
I've priced the tanks thru catalogs which runs about $170 but shipping is about $120 /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif. I've got to find one locally.

Looks really nice. About how much did that set you back and about how long did it take to make it?

Seon, I understand about the need for a trailer on hilly property, you can build it with a low center of gravity and a wide axle for safety, I hope you have luck finding a tank locally that shipping is expensive.

Npaden, I made the frame from left over angle I had around. The only thing I had to buy was two cat 1 pins $4. It took two partial days to build, one day to cut, grind, and bevel all the pieces and the next to weld, prime, and paint.
