I have a 2001 BX2200. I've owned it for 16 years. 2300 hrs on it.
I have an issue with the 3pt not raising and hence the deck will not raise. FEL is not attached and the return hose at the FEL connection is connected to is proper place.
This just happened last week and I have my whole tractor disassembled right now looking for this issue.
Tractor will move forward and backward just fine.
When attempting to operate the 3 pt lever it sounds like the 3 pt. does not disengage when it reaches the top and appears to be bogging down the motor.
Could shut it off and it would return to normal but, not that stopped and appears to be engaged all the time.
Have tried different throttle positions and no change. I also hear what sounds like air blowing out near the trans while in this state but, cannot locate it as I have bad hearing.
I change the fluids twice a year whether it needs it or not so there is fresh hydraulic fluid in the trans.
Kid was mowing last weekend and he noticed that the trans was smoking, yes, changed the oil right after is cooled down.
Have not reconnected the FEL to see if that functions properly and now that the tractor is in pieces in my garage that won't happen for a bit.
looking for suggestions so I do not have to take this thing to the dealer as you all know these baby's are expensive to repair at home and 10 times as much to repair at the dealer.
Oh, no leaks in the system as far a hydraulic oil is concerned.
Very perplexed!
