Here is a set I built for a fellow TBN'er. The basic frame and forks are 2" x 3" x 3/16" rectangle tubing. I estimate it will hold 1500 lbs minimum. They are being used to haul pallets of firewood.

Here is a modular pallet fork set up that I designed & use. This photo shows the mounting assembly attached to the tractor.

This photo shows the forks attached.

One advantage to this set up is that since everything comes apart, it is easy to store, everything stacks against the wall, and since it comes apart into 4 pieces, each piece is light enough to carry without breaking a sweat or my back.

I should also mention that all the pieces lock together securely without using any tools since I designed it to use top link pins/lynch pins to lock it all together. I hate having to pull out wrenches to undo bolts when adjusting implements, nuts/bolts are slow and just something to lose in the grass but top link pins and lynch pins are common, easy to install/remove without tools, and it makes it much faster to set up and take down the forks.

I saw a “Pallet Mover” that attached to the three point made by King Cutter at a local dealer last night; $199. The paint was chipped on everyone they had in stock and several had cracked plastic end caps where it covers the end of the tubing. Of course, there’s no discount as they are “new” even though they looked like they fell off the truck. I don’t know about the price; this dealer is known for high prices; I plan to check around. It did look like a well made unit for the most part… Maybe I’ll make my own.
